Lo stato delle infrastrutture IT aziendali

Secondo un rapporto Forrester, mentre il panorama degli investimenti IT del 2006 vedeva un atteggiamento delle aziende abbastanza austero,  le imprese europee stanno realizzando investimenti significativi in hardware. Forrester sostiene che circa  un terzo dei budget IT viene speso in hardware e manutenzione, inclusi server, PC, storage e networking.  
Per quanto concerne più in specifico la spesa per hardware, il 25% è costituita da PC e server, seguita dallo storage col 18%, networking col 15% e gestione dei sistemi con un 14%.
